Activists' Histories

During the Oral Histories of Disability Rights Activists research project, eleven people who were engaged in disability rights activism in Canada between 1970 and 2020 were interviewed using oral histories. Oral histories is a method that involves a person telling their history and story to a researcher. These histories are recorded so they can be learned from in the future. On the right hand side of this page, you will find links to each of the activists who were interviewed for this project. Closed captioning is available for most of the interviews.
